When traveling west on the turnpike outside of Gettysburg PA there are these rolling farmland fields and wooded hills. When it snows and then begins to melt, it creates the most amazing quilted patterns of value, color and shape. There are a few areas within this location where one can really see into the distance and on these sort of winter days, the atmosphere creates this beautiful sense of depth.
