One of my favorite places to visit, camp and paint is Assateaque Island National Seashore. There is almost always some visual interest to be found within this beautiful seashore environment with beautiful contrasts of textures occurring in a variety of ways. One of of my favorites are the marshy locations where you see the interplay of water tendrils cutting in through and amongst the marsh grasses. Things jump up a notch with some of the sunsets that make spectacular sky shows which the water captures as well.
