I wanted to again capture that wonderful light and shadow that occurs at a sunset transition within a landscape. The dark shadow area is a challenge because if it is a big part of the canvas, you still need variation of hue, strokes and temperature to keep it interesting and representative of what you see. Shadows are almost never black or uniform in color. If you look closely, there is usually a lot of visual information even within the shadow areas.
